Finishes and Embellishments

All steel products from Loddon have a standard hot dip galvanised finish to protect them from rust for 25 years. They can be further enhanced with powder-coated finishes with a choice from an array of colours or brass, bronze, silver or gold effects.

Grease and scaling is chemically removed from the welded steel which is then dipped into molten zinc to create a protective coating that meets the BS EN ISO 1461 standards and requirements of the Galvanizers Association.

Before any powder coating, it then goes through an eight-stage procleaning and etching process to ensure a perfect finish which secures the protection and long-lasting colouring.
