18 Nov Loddon Attends the Salon Du Cheval in Morocco!
For the first time in the history of the company, Loddon Equestrian attended the prestigious Salon Du Cheval in El Jadida, Morocco. The week long spectacle featured numerous shows and events, championing all of the equestrian activity that Morocco has to offer. These events drew in over 250,000 guests during the week, with an excess of 700 horses also involved in the show.
Representing Loddon during the week were Joseph Benquesus, Rabii Benadada and Charles Hay. Joseph and Rabii are both Moroccan born and as such were able to converse with all visitors, exhibiting Loddon in Morocco for the very first time. Charles, using his experience in project management was also able to provide additional information regarding our products and services for all equestrian constructions in Morocco and the wider region.
Exhibiting in the International Village, Loddon Equestrian were very much at home, with many other international companies showcasing what they had to offer the Moroccan equestrian industry. There was extensive media and publicity surrounding the event with Loddon providing numerous interviews for a range of television stations including Moroccan Channel 1 and Arabian channels.
The Salon Du Cheval had a little something for everybody. The Royal Cavalry of Morocco put on impressive daily shows as well as various Show Jumping competitions, horse auctions, a national
farriery competition and shows for Thoroughbred Arabians.
Rabii Benadada summarised the event saying “The Loddon Engineering participation in Salon Du Cheval is a success by all means; many specialists and countries have been keen to meet the Loddon Stables delegation and understand the previous achievements of the company.”
All in all it has been a wonderful experience for Loddon and we are keenly awaiting the first Loddon stables to be installed in Africa.
